New zipline is 'exhilarating'
The Beanstalk Journey consists of 15 treehouses connected with bridges, ziplines & ladders. Two guides lead groups of up to eight through the 2.5-hour tour. Adding some local flavor, each treehouse, bridge & zip is named after locations in the Linville Gorge.
New Adventure Playground
Morganton Parks and Recreation Foundation approved the purchase of an adventure playground that will be located at Catawba Meadows Park off Sanford Drive.
